Ksenia Shigaeva ceramics
Artist statement

The key issues of my practice so far are bringing out the tactile side of ceramic material and letting the audience be co-creators of the work - to experience, arrange or play with the material I suggest. The aspect of play is vital for me - both in the process of making the objects and people exploring them. My inspiration is drawn mostly from everyday life, architecture and basic geometric shapes.
